Have a question?
I had seedling potatoes that have eyes. When should I plant them?Also, this is my first year doing this. During my research, I have seen not to do the, the first year as they do t do well. I was told wait till the next year. What is your advice?

Hi, Rachel. I’ll ask Joel to pop in with his best answer. I will just add what I know, which is to be sure that your bales are not too hot when you plant your potatoes. If you make that mistake, you end up with “potato soup” in the bottom of your bales instead of an abundance of potatoes ready to be harvested someday inside your bales. 🙂
