Grow on Concrete or a Balcony

If you live in an apartment, condo or town home, you may have nowhere to grow a garden, except a small balcony or patio area. You can plant a few things in patio pots, but that won’t get you much in terms of a vegetable garden….

With Straw Bale Gardening, you can get much better results.

You can arrange your bales on a deck, a concrete patio or a sidewalk space. Just a few straw bales can yield a large amount of fresh produce. You’ll be amazed at what you can grow.

One resourceful woman in New York City even set up her SBG on the designated parking spot for her NYC apartment; she didn’t have a car, so she used that space to grow her own vegetable garden!
